Fund Allocations are the month-end allocations of actively managed funds.
#Fund Positions
Fund Positions are about fund allocations relative to benchmark, both right now and relative to history.
We collect data on how a fund has allocated its assets at the end of each month, and – where possible – we compare it to an index (usually, the fund’s benchmark) to calculate (i) the fund’s “difference from benchmark”.
The most recent value of that “difference” (from benchmark) says something about #Fund Positions.
The comparison of (i) to (ii) the average of that difference over a long period also says something about #Fund Positions.
